Faith Akwaugo Anyaoha also known as Deeva is a 21 year old final year student of University of Lagos who has an in depth passion for music. Starting music at the age of 8 and singing in the TREM church Children’s choir where she honed my talents, RnB was her first love musically but she fell in love with rap.
Growing up listening to Nas, 2pac, Notorious BIG and G Unit, as a child, she saw herself falling in love with the energetic and dynamic sound of Hiphop. She also fell in love with the deep messages that these rappers had used hip hop to project and send to millions of fans all over the world and I had one day dreamt that she could use hip hop to portray not just her emotions and true feelings, but also the messages that the world needs to hear.
Previously dropping a cover of Djinee’s Overkilling titled it “68” after the amount of bars she originally freestyled which was No 1 on 360nobs.com and winning the Annual Universities Crest Award (ANUCA) for Best Student Female Artiste in 2014 and going ahead to be one of the winners at the Blackberry Q5 competition, she’s back after a 3 year hiatus with another freestyle cover she did on Nicki Minaj’s popular diss in reply to Remy Ma titled “No Frauds”.
